FAYES VIEWS
Welcome to “Views” a little insight of who I am as an artist and what inspires me in my musical journey. I am a Capricorn I was born January 13, 1999 in Southern California. I've always been a loud, outgoing, and humorous child, but that's also how everyone has always seen me as. Despite my insecure nature as a singer, I've always felt like i was not enough when it comes to my musical abilities. However, I have gained more confidence as a singer through many musician by being inspired from a lot of artists work, like Chris Brown, Kanye West, Beyonce, Frank Ocean, and Lauryn Hill. I was motivated by these artists to deepen my understanding of poetry and lyrical writing skills. This gave me the motivation to also improve my performing abilities and demonstrate to others that I am an entertainer in addition to just a singer.
Throughout middle school and high school, I was always rather athletic as kid. Given that I found sports to be so stimulating and because everyone did it, I believed that this was the life for me. I cherished the motivation and commitment that athletics required of me to excel. I felt like a master of none but a jack of all trades because I participated in a lot of sports in high school. I felt like there was something lacking from my life, therefore I started looking for what I was very good at. However even though I was looking every day, I did one thing without thinking twice: I took my phone out and went on the camera app to record an amusing skit or a singing video.
I started sharing skits and covers on social media all when I was in the seventh grade. I realized that I had always loved the appreciation that I received when creating my content. Since I took great pleasure in the feelings I brought out in others whenever I sang songs or even created entertaining skits. I knew I wanted to do something in the entertainment field. Through all the trial and tribulations in my life I released my first song in high school called, “I wanna be".
Outside of my music, I still do enjoy making amusing videos, but dancing is other passion of mine. When I was younger, I was part of a dance team; I stopped in high school. However, it grew on me and on some days I find myself dancing and going to dance studios. Also, going to many events I have always been the girl on the dance floor causing a scene and bringing a crowd to enjoy. Another, is I enjoy spending time doing outdoor activities, such as visiting the beach or an amusement park; these are my preferred destinations for mental relaxation. Finally, I enjoy trying out new foods and exploring new places with my friends and family because I'm a foodie. I like to eat a lot and explore my taste buds.
